Tutorial Guide: How to Link Elfa to Telegram

What You Can Do With Telegram Connected

Once linked, Telegram becomes your Elfa command centre on the go. You can:

• —Receive Auto Trading alerts when your strategies trigger
• —Create Auto plans from Telegram
• —Check the status of your active Auto plans
• —Use Ask Elfa directly from Telegram
• —Get general account notifications (order executions, signals, and more)

Did you know? You can also add Elfa into your group chats and Ask Elfa with your friends!

Important

You cannot change your Telegram account once it is connected to your Elfa account.

Once you're sure which Telegram account you want to connect, continue with the steps.

Step 1: Open Your Notification Settings

Head to app.elfa.ai and log in. Then navigate to:

1. Click your profile icon in the top-right corner
2. Select Settings
3. Go to General

Step 2: Connect Your Telegram Account

In the General section, you'll see an option to link Telegram. Click Connect. This will redirect you to open Telegram.

You'll be taken directly to Elfa's Telegram bot. To complete the connection, type /start in the chat with the bot and send it.

⚠️ The link won't activate until you send /start. Don't skip this step or notifications won't come through.

Once the bot confirms, head back to Elfa. Your Telegram should now show as Connected.

Using Ask Elfa on Telegram

Once linked, you can send messages to the Elfa bot just as how you would Ask Elfa in the app. Ask about a token, a narrative, what smart money is doing, or anything else you'd normally query in the app.

The bot also supports commands for quick actions:

• —/auto, /a your prompt — Build with Elfa Auto
• —/templates, /t — Show pre-built strategies
• —/plans, /p — List your active automation plans
• —/summary, /s — Generate latest crypto/CT summary
• —/hot, /h — Show trending questions on Elfa
• —/link, /l — Link your Elfa App account
• —/credits, /c — Check your available credits

You don't need to remember the commands — just type /start to get the full list.

Checking Active Auto Plans From Telegram

If you have Auto Trading plans running, Telegram keeps you updated without having to log back in. You'll get a message when:

• —A plan executes a trade
• —A condition is met and triggers an action
• —A plan expires or is paused

You can also send /plans to the bot at any time for a live status check of what's currently running.

Troubleshooting

Not receiving alerts? Run through this checklist:

• —Make sure you sent /start to the bot after clicking the Telegram link — this step is required
• —Check that the relevant notification toggles are turned on in Settings → General → Notifications
• —Confirm your Telegram shows as Connected in settings
